Main "Sight" Survey Interface

Shown to the left is "Sight" Survey's main User Interface screen as it would appear when running with CAD.  Regardless of the CAD version selected, this screen and the program operation remain the same.

The main screen contains several areas.  The main menus are located in the upper left portion of the screen.  (You may click on any menu item to see the routines contained in the menu.)

To the immediate right of the menus, "Sight" Survey displays context-sensitive instructions to guide your data entry.

Lying below the instructions is the data entry area.  Data entry fields here change according to the chosen routine.

To the left of data entry area lies a toolbar of commonly used commands(Hover your mouse over any toolbar button to see what it does.)

Toward the bottom of the screen you'll find a 25-button user-definable tool bar.  You can assign 25 two-letter commands to these buttons, and hovering your mouse over any button will display a tool-tip indicating the assigned routine.

At the bottom of the screen you'll find two additional buttons.  The first will Toggle Auto Zoom Extents, which may be used to freeze the zoom level.  Just below lies the View/Hide Text Output button.  All "Sight" Survey operations are recorded into a text window.  Use this button to view and hide this window.  (Click the button to view a typical text window.)
