The Config Menu

 

The Config menu contains commands used to tailor the way “Sight” Survey works.  Nearly every aspect of the operation of “Sight” Survey is controlled from one of the configuration menus.  

 

Text Output:  Controls text printed to the Text Output window.

Slope Entry:  Parameters for entering slope distances.

CAD:  Scaling, and annotation parameters.

COGO:  Coordinate formats and point entry parameters.

Local:  Parameters for naming conventions, azimuth basis, distance units, report labeling, stationing, directional units, and default angle entries.

Bearings Format:  Formatting for directional output in both CAD and text.

File Path:  Set up default data and drawing paths.

Auto Backup:  Establish parameters for auto-save and backup files.

Drawing Properties:  Controls drawing object types, colors, and text properties.

Point Configuration:  Controls how points are drawn in CAD.

Edit User Toolbar Commands:  Assign two-letter command codes to a user toolbar.

Switch Interface:  Change CAD and non-CAD interfaces
